This is a good sized fragment of painted wood from an ancient Egyptian wooden sarcophagus. It's a decent size at 310mm ; just on a foot tall. Shows a colourful Horus hawk and other desgn elements. The wood is in good condition. The stand in the pic is rather make-shift but you can buy it as well  for an additional £4.75 Late in the Late Period/ early Ptolemaic circa 400 BC From a Swiss collection
