This is a really fine scarab. showing the king as a sphinx wearing the elaborate double plummed crown, before  him, Maat .Above to the rear, Men Taui; Reads The True King of the Two lands. Very fine work. gone a bright white. Well made supports at each end and the legs very deeply undercut. No chips at al. Well nigh perfect. Compare with the example shown in Ben- tor and the other in the Magnarini collection 19mm Ex UK collection
