This nicely mounted partial head of Silenus has a magnificent dark patina with lovely ruddy cuprite areas. Hollow cast, it must have been part of a larger assembly. 37 mm x 25 mm. 1st/2nd century Ex Spanish collection; said to have been found in Spain.
