This small and charming bronze of a satyr seated on a rock has an interesting mottled grenmalachite and red cuprite patina. The malachite has gone slightly brighter green than initially as there was a tiny area of incipient bronze disease on this and effective treatment caused this slight colour change. 44mm high. 2nd century BC. From a European collection.
