Unusual faience scarab This very dark coloured scarab appears to be of faience. It is difficult to make out the hieroglyph details but below are a Neter and Deshret Red Crown which read the beautiful or good king of Lower Egypt. The smaller glyphs above are indistinct. Intact 16,mm Egyptian probably Late Period circa 500 BC
