A very rare Early Bronze Age II terracotta cult ring vessel 'Kernos' It has four elevated offering bowls with a 'tubes' leading to a hollow circular base. It is thought such was used as a libation vessel during religious ceremonies in ancient Israel and similar have been excavated at Bab edh-Dhra. 130mm high, 145mm across (diagonally 160mm) Early Bronze Age circa 3300-3100 BC From my own collection. Ex C J Martin 1991. The only other one on the market is offered at $2750 This one is £1595
