An interesting very early terracotta vessel from Israel Piriform with a broad strap handle and very wide neck. Black fabric with surface completely blackened andworn away - probably fire damage. Also a small rectangular hole on one side ? made with a metal implement. Possibly a ritual 'kill hole'. Uncertain type. ? ? originally had a slip. ? White on Redware?
