An unusual and very attractive Roman gold ring.

An elegantly shaped tapered hollow gold band with some applied gold decoration.

Surmounted  by a garnet cabochon within a fine granulation frame.

Though such hollow gold rings are often fairly delicate this one is robust enough to be worn.
