A rather nice small fragmentary Roman bronze of Eros Though fragmentary it is very pleasing with a sense of liveliness and a good glossy mottled patina of green and brown hues and quite a lot of deep red cuprite. 67mm Roman 2nd /3rd century See Comestock & Vermeule Greek Etruscan and Roman Bronzes in the Museum of Fine Arts Boston for a similar examples Does not come with the stand.
