A rather attractive fragment of painted Egyptian wooden sarcophagus panelling in three adjacent pieces.

Good preservation and mounted on a board with hessian backing: wire at back so it can be hung on the wall.

Approx 500mm x 260mm: backing is 590mm x 340mm.

Very late Late Period, early Ptolemaic.

Ex UK collection; acquired on the London market circa 1965.
