To either ENQUIRE or BUY a piece click the button you will see with each item. No impersonal 'shopping basket' system here. I prefer to do all this personally by email.
A quite rare beardless shabti from the Delta region. The type is very similar to the Royal shabtis of King Takelot II. Although the glyphs have been rubbed away it is neverthless an example of the shabti type first published by Chappaz in BSEG. The second photo shows it with another example where the text can be read. The dark monochrome photo is from the Chappaz publication. Intact. 120mm. Mounted on a lucite stand. Third Intermediate Period. Ex old collection in The Netherlands.
