This is a really nice Roman bronze of what  appears to be a fragmentary winged Dionysic Eros: the wings at the back have been lost. Particularly nice detailing in the vine which twists around the body.

Lovely sense of movement and a really fine glossy patina with quite a bit of red cuprite showing.

Fragmentary as seen. With custom made stand.
