This is a really enormous terracotta bowl in burnished red slip ware typical of the Trans Jordanian potery of the Early Bronze Age in Israel. Prick dot decoration.

Totally intact bar some minor nibbles on the rim.

185mm x 365mm

Would make a nice fruit bowl! Maybe is one was.

Early Bronze Age circa 3000 BC.

Found in Israel.
