This is a very hefty lead weight with a suspension loop on the top.

55mm x 50mm  x 17mm and weighing 454.6 g !!

The upper case  Greek leters are eta - iota - lamda which as numerals can stand for 8-100-300.

I am really unsure of dating. It could be anywhere from Hellenistic to Byzantine.

Anyone know for sure, I'd be really pleased to hear from you.
