A well painted large and imposing Apulian bell krater with the usual two youths on one side and an interesting mythical scene on the other. Good surfaces and no repainting apparent. Reconstituted from several large fragments as is so often the case, but well done without any infilling. An imposing size at 385mm across the top and 282mm high. Greek colonies of sothern Italy, Apulia. 4th century BC
