This is a good example of the very early East Greek type of fibula found mostly at and around Ephesus in Turkey. This one is the largest by far, of this type I've ever seen. See item 816 for the usual size of this type also shown in one of the pics here. Good metal. The green spots are verdigris, not bronze disease. 127 mm 6th/7th century BC
