1311. Roman bronze......what is it???

This was with a small group of Roman artifacts found in Eastern Europe.

What is it?

It's made of bronze, not iron.

A stamp of some sort but clearly made to create an impression in a mould as the letters are not reversed.

Question is, what sort of object would carry these letters?
