An very unusual  type of pottery to find on the market. In a white and fairly thin fabric with five dimples and standing on a flat circular base.

Intact bar a few small nicks on the rim.

Another piece, in the British Museum is shown in the pics.

Assyrian "Palace Ware". Circa 6th century BC.

From an Israeli collection. Probably found in Israel. There are known sites in Israel where this ware has been found.
