Outstanding in Kerbschnitt Teutonic iron brooch decorated bronze with slight remnants of a former silvering.

Hervorragende, im Kerbschnitt verzierte germanische Bügelfibel aus Bronze mit leichten Resten einer ehemaligen Versilberung.

Es handelt sich um eine germanische Bügelfibeln aus Osteuropa mit typisch, im Kerbschnitt verzierter Kopfplatte die fünf "Knöpfe" trägt. Der Fibelfuß wir durch einen stilisierten Tierkopf gebildet.

 Das seltene Schmückstück lässt sich ca. in das  5. bis 6. Jh. datieren.

Maß: ca. 41 mm

Die Bronzefibel würde bereits gründlich gereinigt hat keine Ergänzungen, Brüche oder Risse.

I have a reprint from 2000 of that book -  there is no similar piece there.

#1 and #3 have the foot with eyes on it as the simple gothic type has.

Also another image showing they were used in various ways, not only fixed to the peplos.
