There is something very wrong with this pair quite apart from the nonsense "cuneiform".  Do you see it?

How could anyone supposedly familiar with ancient artifacts from athe Ancient Near East  believe that there is cuneiform writiing here?

Described in the auction sale as

They do look quite old. Not new fakes, but antique fakes.

Somewhat strangely they also appear to be hollow!

All are fakes of course

More and more poorly made examples appearing on eBay. I say "poorly made" but I realise that for people not familiar with cuneiform they look genuine.

For anyone familiar with cuneiform, not really at all convincing....
