One wonders ithe new owner of this will ever discover the truth?

Though there are features of this which very clearly declare it's inauthenticity.

And from a new crook on eBay this utterly dreadful fake of a Roman Fayum mummy portrait for which he is asking no less than £6,800.

One would hope that any prospective purchaser would at least comapare it with good examples in museums!
